WARNING! What Happens When America Gives Up God

People often talk about how the Left has embraced politics as its new religion. But Minister Jonathan Cahn, who authored "The Harbinger," takes it a step farther. His latest book, "The Return of the Gods," shows how the radical transformations of society today are part of an ancient pattern. Most of us can sense the evil spreading.

We can tell that our society is sick. One mistake we make is the idea that the people devoted to destroying us are unhinged. They are, in a certain sense, but there is nothing irrational about what they’re doing. There’s something supernatural happening, and Jonathan blames the evil gods Baal, Ishtar, and Moloch. Jesus put an end to these ancient evils. But now they are returning, and America is leading the way, driven by the exploitation of children, the destruction of marriage, and the ubiquity of pornography.

Their hidden pagan symbolism has begun emerging into plain sight, from “Pride” parades to rainbows and humans becoming like the machines and the animals. Jonathan’s solution is simple. Following the guidance of Jesus, he says, “Don’t be timid with goodness, don’t be timid with your love.”

All these things that are happening today in the whole world doesn’t make sense. In the Book of Romans, it talks about where modern man is today and what he is doing.  It doesn’t make sense.  We can’t relate to those things, the evil, shooting people, killing, destroying the food chain.  It’s not logical.  There is no common sense with it.  So why has it happened?  In the Scriptures, it tells us why.

When man becomes depraved, God turned them unto themselves., and what they do is unseemly, meaning, it doesn’t make sense.  You can’t recognize the purpose would be for their good or anybody’s good.  It does not make sense.  And that is where we are.  We are in Romans 1, that the world has fallen into a deep darkness, satanic.  Here are the words of God.  Not from Our Lady, but straight from God, because the words in the Bible is God’s Word.  Listen to every word. Romans is now telling us, that we are now at that moment.  This is a description of where we are and where we are going:

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them because God has shown it to them. Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse; for though they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools; and they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling a mortal human being or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.

Therefore, God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the degrading of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason, God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, ²⁷ and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done. They were filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious toward parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. They know God’s decree, that those who practice such things deserve to die—yet they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.”
